Online Social Media & Marketing Internship

The Royal Theatre strives to ensure that every visit is a fun & memorable experience for both customers and performers.   We are now seeking an ambitious and imaginative Marketing person, whose core skills should include but are not limited to Online Social Media to work in a collaborative environment where new ideas and innovations are encouraged.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Create awareness and gain exposure through social media outlets

·      Help create marketing strategies to increase visibility online

·      Direct involvement in Tweeting/Updating Facebook status to encourage engagement and Increase our fan/follower base

·      Involvement in blogging, Google+, YouTube and email campaigns.

·      Uncover New Promotional and Sponsorship Leads through Social Media.

·      Internet research and Data Mining.

·      Creating fun content for social media, blogging & newsletters.

Key Requirements:

·      Be a highly motivated, driven and organized individual

·      Must understand our target market,

·      Be able to commit for a minimum of 9 months.

·      Excellent communication skills, detail oriented, creative, and computer savvy

·      In dept Knowledge of Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn etc

·      Keen interest in emerging social media trends

·      Self motivated, Eager to learn, Responsible, Flexible and energetic.

·      Comfortable to work independently and collaboratively.

Note:

Option to work from home, but must be available to attend meetings etc in the workplace.
