Getting to the Royal Theatre & Events Centre

From Ireland West Airport Knock
Exit car park and head north. At the roundabout, take 2nd exit onto R376. Turn left onto N17. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit. Merge onto the N5 via the ramp to Westport/Swinford. At the next roundabout, ake the 2nd exit. Continue on. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Spencer Street. Slight left onto The Mall. Turn left onto Mountain View. Continue onto the Westport Road. The TF Royal Hotel will be on your right, the entrance to the Royal Theatre and Events Centre is the next right after the hotel entrance.

Start off on Bridge Street at the traffic lights, opposite Xtravision Castlebar.
Continue onto Main Street and travel for 200m to Heatons on Ellison Street
Pass Heatons on your right hand side and continue up towards the traffic lights
Continue straight through the traffic lights and travel 300m onto the Old Westport Rd.
You will see the sign for The Royal and the Travellers Friend hotel will be on your right hand side.
The Royal Entrance is at the left hand side of the Travellers Friend down the steps and into the right.

Entering Castlebar from Dublin, Sligo, Ireland West Airport, Derry and Belfast

Proceed straight through the first 2 roundabouts, taking the exit signposted for Westport.  At the 3rd roundabout, take the 2nd exit signposted 'Town Centre'.  Proceed for approx. 300 metres and the hotel and Carpark is located on your right.  Proceed directly into the Multi-story carpark, which has direct access into the Hotel.

Entering Castlebar from Galway, Limerick, Cork, Waterford

Proceed to the first roundabout and take the 1st exit signposted for Westport.  At the 2nd roundabout, take the 2nd exit signposted 'Town Centre'.  Proceed for approx. 300 metres and the hotel and Carpark is located on your right.  Proceed directly into the Multi-story carpark, which has direct access into the Hotel.

Entering Castlebar from Westport

Proceed to the First roundabout and take the 1st exit, signedposted Town Centre.  Proceed for approx. 300 metres and the hotel and Carpark is located on your right.  Proceed directly into the Multi-story carpark, which has direct access into the Hotel

The Bus stop is located on Steven Garvey Way (2 min from The Royal). Walk up the hill and take a right, the TF Royal Hotel will be on your right, the entrance to the Royal Theatre and Events Centre is the next right after the hotel entrance.

Castlebar train station is located on Station road. Taxi's are available outside and it is a 5 minute journey from the station. On foot, walk straight from the train station until you reach the Cathal Duffy roundabout, proceed straight through. Follow the road as it passes the court house, until you reach a set of traffic lights. Turn left at the traffic lights, proceed up the hill until you reach the TF Royal Hotel. The entrance to the Royal Theatre and Events Centre is the next right after the hotel entrance.
