The Meteor Award winning Coronas are coming to The Royal Theatre Castlebar this summer 20th August 2010. 



With two very successful albums “Heroes and Ghosts” and “Tony was an Ex-Con” including their recently released “Someone Else’s Hands” have ensured this Irish Band are receiving wide ranging support and affection from fans

Their First album was described by Hot Press as “a soulful line between Jeff Buckley and the Libertines”

The Coronas made up of Danny O Reilly, Graham Knox, Conor Egan and Dave Mc Phillips have achieved platinum sales in Ireland with Heroes or Ghosts, and spawned massive singles such as "Grace, Don't Wait!", "Heroes or Ghosts" and especially "San Diego Song" which became an anthem in pubs and radio stations all across the country.

The Coronas opened Oxegen 2009 on the main stage, have also completed short tours in the UK and the US They were also the supporting act to The Script last year At The Royal Theatre. They will play Oxegen again this July and will headline their own night on Friday 20th August 2010 in The Royal Theatre Castlebar.
