Rejoice Gospel Choir are based in Ballina Co Mayo and have earned themselves quite a reputation for their spirited and uplifting approach to Gospel music. This well travelled group are constantly looking for new challenges and ways to reach out to people with their music. As a way of celebrating their tenth anniversary they are taking to the stage with an exciting musical production.

The show entitled Hosanna Superstar is a modern edgy take on the oldest story ever told. It depicts the last week of Christ’s life on earth and endeavours to portray the real feelings of unrest, deception and love; it gives us a fresh insight into the sacrifice Jesus made for us.

We are all too aware of the huge workload people face nowadays and how hard it is to fit everything into our already packed lives but we feel it is particularly relevant that we are staging this show the week before Easter, and are hoping it will fit into you and your families preparation for the Easter season. We are hoping too that it might send the true message of Christ and Christianity home at this time of uncertainty.

Hosanna Superstar will be staged in The Royal Theatre Castlebar on Thursday March 25th at 8pm. Tickets are €20 and available from The Royal and usual ticket outlets.
